At 10.5” in diameter and 5.5 inches tall, this segmented wooden bowl is handcrafted using 163 precision cut pieces of walnut and plywood to exacting specifications. The pieces are carefully placed, glued together by hand and turned very carefully on a lathe. This is a sturdy wood bowl with walls approximately 3/8” thick.
The bowl is finished to a satin sheen with a safe for food contact polyurethane varnish on the outside and coated with a safe for food contact epoxy on the inside so you can use it with any wet food. All natural colors – no stains were used in making this bowl.
Bowl Care Do’s and Don’ts:
- Don’t submerge your bowl in water
- Don’t put your bowl in the dishwasher, oven or microwave.
- Do wash your bowl with mild dish soap and water, rinse and dry promptly.
